The young 23 year old Ranee Kok has done it yet again. The Parsons School of Design in New York has created yet another wonder in Ranee Kok. Her winter/fall fashion of 2006 was a beautifully synchronized opera that awed everyone who saw it.

The Hong Kong winter fall week of 2006 saw a lovely collection put together by Ranee Kok who proves her metal to the world yet again. Her exposure to the western world and her Chinese linage blend together once more to showcase a lovely collection of her east meets west signature. The princess of texture created dresses which swirled and danced with the crowd’s heart. The lovely models sashayed down the ramp with large colored feathers and yet one could not help but look at anything other that the lovely designs created by Ranee Kok.

Tangy - Liang Zi

When Liang Zi established Tangy in 1994 she knew what she was capable of creating and wanted to show to the rest of the world not only her determination in creating fashion but also her capabilities in the area. Liangzi showed very clear signs of becoming a fashion designer from even before she entered college. Liangzi worked as an art personnel in the department of Zhejiang Silk Industrial Institute for over half a decade, where she gained immense clothes making experience.

FAK3 - Johnny Wong

FAK3 is a design studio based in Hong Kong and Barcelona. Mr. Johnny Wong set up the studio in 2004. The young graduate from the Royal College of Art in London walked into the world with his masters’ degree in Architecture and Interiors and joined OMA . But soon he left the prestigious and internationally known OMA to enter into a partnership with Jan Erdweg, who had given up his head of marketing post with Puma , and FAK3 came into being. Johnny Wong felt greatly and passionately about architectural designs. He wanted to create artistic designs that would enhance people’s homes.

NE-Tiger

NE.TIGER has covered a long journey since it was opened in 1992 as a small store that dealt in fur items. The label is Chinese in its essence. The manufacturing and the funding are both done in China itself. NE.TIGER is named after the northeastern Siberian Tiger that is as much a part of the Chinese soil as in NE.TIGER.

NE .TIGER uses not only traditional materials but also Chinese techniques. NE only uses skins made by Kopenhagen manufacturers. Chinese silks and embroideries are used on modern designs to create a lovely mix of traditional modernity.
Viviene Tam

The young three year old who moved to Hong Kong from Caton in China did not know that the British Colony would influence her in such a positive way that one day she will be a household name of the fashion Industry. Vivienne Tam is synonymous with the east meets west fashion trend.

She is a symbol of fashion for all pockets. Her designs are highly influenced by Chinese patterns and culture yet they are western in their cuts and styles
