Paris is a name synonymous with Fashion. No one is considered accepted in the fashion world till Paris does not do the honors. Frankie Xie took this test and seemed to have passed with flying colors.

Profile of Frankie Xie: Jenfen [27 Jan 2007]

Frankie Xie entered the world of fashion about twenty years ago. This 46 year old designer adopted Frankie as his name and it stuck well with him. Xie started his own line of clothing called Jenfen in collaboration with an Italian company about four years ago. Today there are about twenty stores of Jenfen all over China with annual revenues of over seven million pounds.

Xie recounts that when he was in China there was not much to the name of fashion. The clothes people wore were simple and useful while the fabric used was sturdy rather than complementing. When Xie was going through college in the eighties there was no option to study fashion. There were no such courses offered at that time.
