Li Qing - Point out the Difference Since 2000 there has been an increasing curiosity by the international community in the astonishing speed of China’s emergence on the globe as one of the key players and a potential competitor of the American superpower.

In the middle of 1970s, I went to Qingpu County of Shanghai many times for doing archeological excavations and holding exhibition. It was in the county’s museum I got known with Debao who was an art designer with the museum.

Peng Wei - An Introduction -

Sichuan woman artist Peng Wei uses the traditional medium of Chinese ink on paper to create delicate and intricate paintings of women's shoes and traditional Chinese robes. Representing the clothing in beautiful colours and patterns, Peng gives a fresh and contemporary expression to the traditional technique of ink painting, without intentionally reforming it.

Chen XinMao - Statement -

If the artistic conception of my creations is not obvious, the melody, however, can still be observed, revealed. By means of experimentation, the usage of materials follows the dictates of their innate character; whether wood, crude or exquisite paper, bamboo, etc, these materials are fully incorporated within my artistic expression.
